Below are the minutes of SSC meeting of Oct. 1.  Thanks to Al Pugsley for doing this. And to Terry for keeping the time.  Three notes:

1)   The next meeting is Nov 5 at VC as usual.  Jerry Rees is the Moderator and Margaret Thomas will take the minutes. Contact Jerry regarding topics you wish to cover and time needed.

2)   We probably need twenty minutes or so for Rose to present the mission statement, etc.

3)   The “Breaking the Silence” conference on Nov 2,3 is before the next meeting.  Rita and Barb, you probably want the displays and literature to pass out, sign up sheet, etc.  I can meet you at Village Church and get these for you.  Call me!  816 942 9495.

Thanks to all for your attendance and participation.  Chuck
